Our story

It started with three family restaurants in Feltham

No investors, no boardroom, no grand plan. A three-person team, minimal startup costs, and one question: why are family restaurants handing over a slice of every order to platforms their own customers were already looking past?

How it went

From a WordPress prototype to a full platform

THE START

2016, three people, three restaurants

livemenu is born: self-funded, minimal costs, and a single goal. Stop the commission bleed for three family kitchens in Feltham.

THE PROTOTYPE

WordPress, printers and Windows tablets

The quickest route to market we could build: a WordPress site with a few plugins, orders printed in the kitchen, and accept or decline buttons running on Windows tablets through the dashboard. It had its quirks. It also worked: within days, 80% of the restaurants' regulars were ordering direct again.

THE BUILD

Six weeks to our own software

Belief confirmed, we started building our own e-commerce platform in-house. Six weeks later it did everything the restaurants needed: online ordering, menu management, reservations, secure payments with next-day payouts, email confirmations and more.

WORD GOT OUT

Ten customers in four weeks

Within a month of the new release we had ten restaurants on board, and the customer base kept growing from there.

GROWING UP

Super Manage Ltd is born

The plans got bigger: EPOS, kitchen display screens, the whole in-store side. That needed a proper home of its own, so Super Manage Ltd was founded to build it.

2025

Eggss

Super Manage was a company name, not a brand anyone remembered. Eggss was our first answer to that.

2026

menyu

A name that's easy to remember and says exactly what we do. The brand you're looking at now.

TODAY

The full suite, still in-house

Online ordering, QR tables, EPOS, kitchen screens, card terminals, loyalty and a growing set of integrations, with £50M+ in orders processed. Still built in-house, still in London, still answering our own phone.

Ten years on
